July 29, 2016 You will not see much sport with an LVAD, but apparently it is possible! Here's the remarkable story of Andrew Jones, professional fitness model and body builder.

Andrew Jones, fitness model and body builder

Andrew Jones considers himself 'The best looking zombie you'll ever see', a living creature with no pulse. He is a professional fitness and body building practitioner when he is suddenly confronted with a cardiomyopathy. From one day to the next, he was hospitalized seriously ill and 4 months later he had a heart attack. With hard training, he largely regained his condition and he can fully practice his profession again.

Pay attention! It is curious, but definitely not recommended to do this with an LVAD, actually life-threatening!
