Calling for Heartmate II.

The objective in the development of this belt was to be able to wear the equipment in such a way that it is safe and as comfortable as possible, so that wearing the equipment is less and less burdensome.

The belt comes in soft black leather, lined with a soft, sturdy fabric for optimal wearing comfort.

The pictures below are made of one of the prototypes that was made of green leather, the details are clearly visible.

This is the belt as it is worn. The controller is securely attached to a wide belt and the battery holders are also on this belt. As a result, the weight of the whole is carried on the hips and the shoulders are relieved as much as possible.

ATTENTION: because the full weight of the batteries and the controller hangs from the belt, it should never be worn without shoulder straps. These are fitted for safety so that should the belt come loose once, the weight will hang on the shoulders and will not end up on the drive line.

To use this belt properly, here's an explanation of the details:

There is a recess in the leather where the clip of the controller fits. The two wide Velcro straps are used to further secure the controller.

The long cable that goes from the controller to the battery is attached to the Velcro with a large loop. The controller is worn in such a way that the drive-line, the cable that comes out of the abdomen, runs under a loop under the controller.

               

                     

The cloth is also attached with Velcro at the bottom. This allows it to be taken off for washing. It can also serve as an example to make a cloth in a suitable color 😉

When making a cloth, make sure that the material is not too thick and seals too much, then the controller can become too hot. Material such as leather is not advisable.

The belt around the waist is made of a wide band so that the wearing comfort is great (a narrow band can cut too much in the waist). A narrow belt with buckle provides a secure tight closure.

On the inside of the belt is a piece of Velcro with which the battery holder can be attached if desired.

The belt comes with a phone case for an iPhone. This case can be attached on the right or left front. After the choice of the location for the cover, the advice is to sew it here so that the risk of loss is minimal.

Tip 1: After the belt has been purchased, the shoulder straps can be stitched together to the right size so that there is no longer a problem with loose straps and buckles that can get in the way. It is best to keep the tires double as much as possible.

Tip 2: The leather cross on the back can sometimes shift annoyingly when putting on the belt. If the most ideal position is determined for the greatest wearing comfort, it can be stitched on a few points (apply a few small stitching in the thinnest part of the leather).
